The Eaton Electrical High Power Test Labs offer a wide range of testing capabilities for engineering, development, and certification purposes for electrical distribution equipment. The labs perform a wide range of electrical tests including current interruption tests (in the low and medium voltage ranges), overload electrical and mechanical endurance, high current withstands, temperature rise, thermal calibration, and magnetic calibration tests. Tests are usually conducted per industry standards (UL, CSA, IEC, IEEE) or customer supplied standards.
